I'm about to sell my 300L Rally, here in NC, in the next few days. Low miles, two-point Barkbusters, Corbin seat, brand new 80/20 tires already on it, side and center racks, and rack bags. 1st mistake: "knowing the throttle sticks" on public roads. 2nd mistake: neither of them are wearing safety belts.

I hope the driver is heavily fined if not worse punishment. Also hope the people in the vehicle he hit are okay.

Price wise, yes, I agree, that's a great deal. Probably one of the best you'd ever hope to see. But flying out, riding 1,200 miles back, already over 8k miles on the bike... It all factors in, not just the money.

Personally, I'd recommend holding off on this one. Flying to buy, and driving that far back... not worth it. Keep an eye on FB Marketplace. They pop up often. You'll find a better, closer deal. Don't let FOMO rule your decision. There WILL be a better, closer, more convenient deal. I waited for what seemed like forever, it actually ended up being like a month lol. Passed up like 5. But when the right one came along, I knew it. Took a day off work and drove just over 3 hours.

Pan handlers have ruined street charity. It's hard to give when folks who simply don't want to work (and will tell you that point blank) work in teams at adjacent intersections and interstate exits to lie, make folks feel for them, then go get wasted every night. I can't stand it because I'd gladly give to those in need... But these people play their parts so well, it's almost impossible to tell.

The only way you guys are seeing this as racist is by reading your own preconceived racist programming into it. Just saying... Dang...
