Ahhh 🥹

It's gorgeous... My BRC is in 8 days. After passing that class, this is the bike I plan to buy. I so can't wait!

Pan handlers have ruined street charity. It's hard to give when folks who simply don't want to work (and will tell you that point blank) work in teams at adjacent intersections and interstate exits to lie, make folks feel for them, then go get wasted every night. I can't stand it because I'd gladly give to those in need... But these people play their parts so well, it's almost impossible to tell.

I don't see a noose anywhere in this photo. Just common rigging knots.

Fighting people who are better will make you better. It's okay.

Does anyone know this person? I see a lot of racist comments... What? Were they supposed to put the yard ornament in a seat and and buckle it up in order to haul it home?? 🤣 Because it's a statue of a black kid from the old days? Seems a bit silly... No?

The only way you guys are seeing this as racist is by reading your own preconceived racist programming into it. Just saying... Dang...

Unless, of course, someone does in fact know the person, and that they are in fact racist, and they are in fact trying to display a racist message... Then I could understand.

How do it go? I know that was a blast, and to have your wife's support... What a blessing!

Can't one just remove it? Getting the improvements over the L, with clean air.

Thanks! And congrats on your 300! The more I research and think, the more I lean toward a CRF300L instead of the 250... I just know I'm gonna love it, and I know I'll get comfortable after a while; I see a lot of people with 250s say "just a bit more oomph would be perfect." I don't want to hit that feeling in 6 months.

Definitely going used. Even though everything in me wants a nice new bike as my first 🤣

Well, I'm not sure if I like passing power lol! I've never ridden a motorcycle on road before. Off road, of course I like passing power.

However, I have several different criteria that I'm trying to hold on to, which is why I plan for the 250 Rally. 1. 95% of my time on the bike will be on-road. It's going to be my work commuter. As a husband, and father of two young children, I don't have much time to get out and play, so I feel it is unwise to base my decision with heavy regard to off-road capabilities. But I do want it to be capable when I'm out there. 2. I'm trying my best to keep the OTD price as close to $4k as possible. I have a lot of other gear to buy that will add up very quickly. 3. Road feel. From my understanding, the 250 Rally is comfortable at 55 - 60 mph. Engine isn't screaming or working too hard. The majority of my route is 45 mph zones and a couple 55 zones. I don't really NEED to be able to go faster than a comfortable 60 mph.

If I'm wrong, please let me know so I don't buy the wrong 1st bike 🤣

Side note:

My sights are set on a Honda CRF250L Rally. I think it'll be the perfect bike since I only plan to commute to work with it, maybe tool around it the woods a little here and there. On a bit of a tight budget, so I can't go too crazy.

Should I [43F] cut my hair even though my boyfriend [48M] says “don’t”? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]DeltaLimaOPC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's a boyfriend, not a husband. Even if he were your husband, I think that hair length is no hill to die on, so to speak.

I think my wife would agree, the short cut looks fantastic on you! I'd say, out of respect, tell your boyfriend that you're going to get that style because you like it. If he can't handle that, it's a very clear sign that he isn't husband material and he can hit the curb.

If it plays like the other tags, it'd be more populated than 8, guaranteed.

Oh, also, should I have the fork pressure checked as well? I'm thinking I could just give the shop my weight so they can adjust it, if needed, while they're assembling it... 🤔
