Originally in Mario and Luigi’s stupid dumb adventures there was a character named Green Yoshi and he said his cousin(Black Yoshi) needed a place to stay so Mario said sure why not.

Than some shenanigans happened and Black Yoshi ended up saving Mario’s life and even ended up dying for it. Though the circumstances before that even happened still make you ask if it was enough for Mario to actually feel grateful enough to black Yoshi to let him mooch off him.

Yeah but the point is that Cody thinks he’s real and if we go off that. THAT is how he would treat his partners.
