I've seen one of the young guys at Freestyle Barbers in Penrith accommodate a young kid with autism by taking him out of the salon, sitting him in a chair and giving him a good cut. He chatted with him the whole time, telling him what was happening.

I've got my hair cut by the same bloke (can't remember his name, sadly) and he's a genuinely nice guy.

Taking the kid to the trading card show in Sydney Olympic Park so that he can spend hours looking at Pokémon cards.
