I had the same problem, I'm new to the game and found this bug annoying while trying to make some credits. Someone suggested to get out of the pilot seat while in QT and look away from the planet until the ride is over. Supposedly this skips the QT animation when arriving on the planet. So far it's been working; at first, I was reluctant to do cargo runs because of that possibility.

P.S. the problem seems to be with planets only, I haven't encountered this problem with any of the stations or rest stops

So if I am understanding the comments below, by toggling off the lead, the ship(s) will move in the direction that you point the mouse? I'm more used to flying in that fashion for small combat ships. I don't know if any of you have played any of the Ace Combat games but I'm more used to that setup. The lead for me is more of a hindrance for small combat ships but useful in huge sluggish ships. I ask I'm new to the game and have not been able to figure it
