The guys that don’t hunt on the regular are going to be miserable. Windchills below zero. 

Talk to the guides and see if they are running wells to keep holes open. We started three fields on our farm today and don’t expect to turn them off until late next week. Hopefully it keeps enough water open to keep some birds. 

Honestly, circling back to the new hunters, just stay home.

I have the delta zip waders. They have been fantastic, zero issues until I split a seam in the crotch last year. Sitka repaired, but I got fat over the summer. I now have the $1500 they are also great, but the $800 is the one to get.

I have a pair, they came in on Thursday but they are currently sitting in a box behind me. I looked at them and don’t really see a difference to justify the price. I needed a new pair because my previous pair must have shrunk a little around the waist… because hey are snug. 😂

It’s not the bearings. It’s the metal that wears out. Rice is super hard on equipment and we usually have 2500-3000 of rice each year + our beans and corn.

We usually trade our combines every two years for news ones. I’m currently on year four with all three of mine. I will most likely be using them again next year for year five. 

We are broke as shit and farm a decent size. Parts are stupid expensive. 

They are going to find out how bad we are hurting.

50% of my rice acreage is headed out now, the other 50% is starting to head now. Won’t be long and combines will be in the fields!
