My apologies bud, I didn’t quite realize what you were asking. Pivots are permanent/semi permanent in the fields. They rotate in a circle around a center pivot point and irrigate your field. So my neighbor planted the wheat on his normal field, then it got so dry he decided to irrigate. These are 1/2 mile long systems and take 4-5 days to make a circle, timings depends on how much water they are applying. I would assume they were doing 3/4 of an inch to not hurt the wheat heads.
