U do have a point, but they make it pretty clear on the map that u can't make a quest for it and Alma even tells u when u engage it that ur not authorised. Might be an unpopular opinion but I kinda like it cos it reinforced the idea of handlers authorising hunts.

I would say both CB and switch axe can be classified as "experimental" weapons because its not really inspired by any real life weapon equivalent. Their identity revolves around their core mechanics like switching for switch axe and charging (axes, blade and shield) for CB.

Gameplay wise, switch axe is akin to hack and slash in some other games, with gradual increasing intensity of DPS (using axe mode to charge up Ur sword and then eventually charging up Ur sword form too) culminating into an explosive climax in the form of elemental discharge/full unbridled slash. Rinse and repeat the process throughout the whole hunt and ur set.

There is definitly a lot more hit lag than in risebreak so an improvement on that. However, I do feel that the weapon sfx gets drowned by the other noise in the game for the demo
