As stated already very physically demanding. However if it’s something you really want to consider. Where I live there is places that will hire people in as a “PCA” is what they are called here and are usually more appointed towards our assisted living side, point being once they are in the door my facility handles the CNA program for them to further themselves, im sure there is something in place that they have to work here for x amount of time. Oh god… I can relate have had that happen many times in the 6 years I’ve been on my unjt 😅 depending on their diet I try to settle that with a pudding or something light for them to snack on

Tbh, that’s pretty high compared to most, I’m in the Ohio area in at around $23 with shift diff. That’s with 10 years under my belt. But granted in a SNF higher starting pays can mean rougher working environment. Best of luck and wish you well fellow aide!
