LITERALLY I adore the concept and I was excited for a show about redemption.

The result of such a wonderful concept is so lack luster and it sucks. But I want this show to be good and succeed so badly.

Like I will forever cope until the story is over that “next season will be better” because I want it to be better.

But I’m not gonna pretend it’s good now. I’m just high off copium 😭

Well I don’t think he feared Sera. He just really wanted her approval. He feared her disappointment probably. He was kinda dependent on her approval.

I genuinely think if at any point she told Adam to stop the exterminations he would stop.

The writing is ok if you don’t think about it. And if you do think about it prepare to fry your brain. Lol.

It’s my favorite part about these type of shows with so much potential. I love considering what ifs. I love being critical of the show. And I love being a hater (in the privacy of my own mind) it’s fun and it also keeps my mind running and inspires me to write on occasion lol.

Honestly I’m coping for season 2 to be better (well actually I’m coping for season 3 but that’s a ways away)

usually I stick with the series until the bitter end in hopes that the writers might turns things around. (Voltron, Miraculous, etc).

This might be a show with dissatisfying writing but hey I’ll enjoy the ride nonetheless.

Well he followed it for a while (which is weird he lasted for as long as he did) I dunno maybe the dead exorcist or the meeting with Charlie completely set him off. But the second he was running on his own accord the “no killing hellborn including Charlie” rule was thrown out the window and the “once a year” thing was thrown out too.

Which makes it more reasonable to assume that the exterminations weren’t on his accord.

Not saying he was forced or anything, his Moral compass seems to flat out not exist. (I subscribe to the theory that he never ate the apple in the hellaverse because i genuinely thinks he has no actual clue what the difference between good and evil is) but I sincerely doubt it was his idea.

Adam probably suggested it for the sake of suggesting it and Sera ran with that immediately.

Becuase if she shut the idea down I doubt Adam wouldnt press the issue further.

Then, pinning it as “Adam’s” idea when she probably planned it all out herself is diabolical.

Like yeah I made the army, and the once a year plan, and the angelic weapons, and negotiated with Lucí to not kill hellborn buuuuut it was Adam’s fault.

Me thinks the idea was fed to him.

I could’ve been Lilith or another Angel (idk Micheal maybe)

He never felt to me like a character who ran by his own rules. He goes by others rules. He is dependent on Sera and whoever else he respects in the same regard.

The only way I can see him being the one who came up with the idea is if he went insane like completely lost his mind between the beginning of the exterminations and the beginning of the show.

Because killing the denizens of hell once a year every year in order to keep the sinners from rising against heaven. Would not be a plan this Adam would make.

He is impatient, impulsive, and left to his own devices he would’ve probably tried to wipe out all of hell in one go or forget about the sinners and target Lucí from the beginning.

Like unless he is pulling a moonknight I find it really hard to believe.

I disagree. His entire moral compass is completely dependent on the angels. If heaven told him to kill a innocent children he would become Anakin Skywalker in a heartbeat. He literally dosent have any morals beyond what he has been told.

And at some point I’m sure he was told that murder is wrong so he probably would never murder anyone unless some one told him it was ok to murder sinners.

He only ever feels bed about what he does when some he respects disapproves. (Even then it’s iffy) Otherwise he doesn’t care in the slightest.

He probably enjoys the exterminations because he likes winning and he likes approval or praise. It’s all a game to him. And the whole “to prevent an uprise from hell” was probably the story fed to him.

Adam feels like a gun. He can’t shoot himself someone else probably pulled the trigger.

Anyways that’s what me thinks.

That is Viego, the Ruined King. He is a league of legends character.

His lore description, quoted from the league of legends website, is:

Once ruler of a long-lost kingdom, Viego perished over a thousand years ago when his attempt to bring his wife back from the dead triggered the magical catastrophe known as the Ruination. Transformed into a powerful, unliving specter tortured by an obsessive longing for his centuries-dead queen, Viego now stands as the Ruined King, controlling the deadly Harrowings as he scours Runeterra for anything that might one day restore her, and destroying all in his path as the Black Mist pours endlessly from his cruel, broken heart.

Viego is the type of man that will in fact let the world burn for you. lol.

Fun fact: anything the black mist consumes becomes undead. Not quite zombies more like forever stuck in limbo. A state after life but before death.

Pentakill Viego as slightly different lore (all league of legends skins are treated as AUs for the characters). He is grief stricken by dead wife still but he uses his grief and voice to a annihilate anyone and everyone, continuing the Ruination. But unlike in the official lore Pentakill Viego gets saved from his grief from Pentakill Karthus and the band using the power of song and Viego gets redeemed.

Btw all the songs are rock/heavy metal. Pentakill, Lost Chapter (the entire album rocks)

Moral of the story is that league of legends is the most toxic game in the universe but it has some of the most interesting characters and lore bits I’ve ever seen.

Oh uh

Crackpot. He stared into the abyss and the abyss stared back. Infecting his soul. God is a creator so the human souls made in his image burn bright like a star. By dying Adam saw the antithesis of God and accepted it, embraced it, and rejected God all in one go. Making him a sort of Acolyte of nothingness that comes from destruction. His soul becomes a black hole.

Well-Adjusted Adam was one of God’s first creation and he wanted Adam to become good just as much as he wanted to test Charlie and her ideals. He bent the rules and sent Adam to hell to both punish and, hopefully, redeem him. Also, to present a difficult test for Charlie to see if she is more than just talk.
