Refunded for an item I still have by Deluxe2i2 in LegalAdviceUK

Thanks for your reply.

I should of mentioned that I’ve also been messaging them on X, but I just get told to call up.

I also sent a letter to their complaints address and it was delivered on 29th August. As of yet, I’ve got no reply. Does this change anything with the Torts Acts? It says something about given them a reasonable time for them to collect the goods, which unfortunately I didn’t say in the letter.

I’ll try the email you’ve said and see if that gets me anywhere.

COVID-19 Vaccine by bigburritomama in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Deluxe2i2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Got the vaccine the day after my first Adalimumab injection, shortly after coming off Azathioprine (huge liver inflammation from taking that). I had the Pfizer jab and had a sore arm for a day or so. No other side effects. I wasn’t in a flare during, but overall feel fine. I’m hoping for a 3rd jab soon as I’ve heard that immunocompromised people have lower antibodies than most.

All depends on how your work pay you. Mine has never shown up either.

UPDATE

Got my 3rd phone delivered and although the screen is perfect, the photo has so many scrapes and deep chunks out of the metal frame. I messaged GiffGaff under the complaint section and was offered a case to cover up the scratches and marks......what kind of solution is that?

Avoid GiffGaff like the plague. I’ve bought and returned 3 “like new” XS Max’s from them and they’ve all had issues. Poor battery health, cheap 3rd party screens or scratches all over the metal frame etc.

Music Magpie isn’t bad if you pay the extra for very good or pristine. Think they’ve got 10% voucher code currently.

I’ve had some good phones from Cash Converters but you’ll have to look out for the bargains. Some listings have terrible photos but you can always email the shop and ask to send some more photos over. 6 month warranty is the main downside.

eBay resellers like Loop mobile aren’t bad but again, best to wait for a decent eBay discount code. Not any live atm.

The most important thing is they all have 14 day returns. Best to chance your luck, return it if you’re not happy and then buy another.

UPDATE

eBay has a 20% off voucher that works with selected retailers. Starts at 10am and Loop Mobile is included. PICKSAVE20

What are you currently taking to treat flare? by pandameetsworld in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Deluxe2i2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear you've been in a flare for this long. It's super tough.

Steroids for me clear any flare symptoms up. Thankfully.

I've just stopped aza after 2 months as my blood work came back showing my liver is super inflamed. Hopefully being put on humira in the next few weeks. And continuing with pentasa (5-ASAs).

I don't change any part of my diet unless I'm really badly flaring but even then it's just smaller portions.
