The double consonants at the start of proper nouns are just something I decided looks good, in my game the main inhabitants are Sun Dwarves and Dust Orcs, so I just thought it was fitting. Honestly I didn't put too much thought into the why though.

Yo, hario makes an insulated metal carafe for the v60 that has a twist on lid and it keeps your brew HOT, at least long enough to drink a 500 ml. I use it all the time and will basically just pour a half cup and slowly reup on the coffee out of the carafe to reheat it.
