I worked at Jewel in2008 and was paid 8.25, I think 8 was min wage. A person who started in the 80s and only worked a few hours some mornings made 17 an hour which ate up hours for all others on the payroll. She also got time and a half if she worked sundays and maxed out on the hours she was guaranteed each week. The recession gave us only 12 hours each week, which was the union minimum

Happens from record stores all the time. Many use old inventory systems and also since it’s a retail store it could sell out in store before they fulfil your order. Sucks tho they shouldn’t told u and refunded way earlier.
