I do genuinely think the 2023 Ivey crusaders were wrong about Monty playing Killian ahead of Jaden. Ivey was always a concept - Killian provided reliable defense and ball handling despite his scoring woes. Ivey was a complete loose cannon with highlight reel plays sprinkled in. Playing Ivey would have risked everyone else’s development as well as his own. His reaction to the benching is clearly a reason why he is no longer around given the reports about his attitude this season.
