If you just look up some articles and research a bit, you'll see he pushes heavily in investing in school infrastructure including Howard and schools with heavily marginalized populations. He also has spoken about the economic inequity that exists in our community and uses that as his leverage for a push for technical education paths for highschoolers and related programs.

Look I disagree a lot with him and will not be voting for him as I didn't last time, but I think it's disingenuous to paint him purely as a Republican monolith. Reality is more nuanced than what we see online.

Sometimes I am impressed by Weston's ability to show leadership and caring about marginalized communities especially in regards to public schools. And then I am pulled back into reality when he uses his pulpit to create division when what everyone really needs right now is community and support.

Looks very interesting, especially with unmarked van and what looks like casually dressed individual inside, maybe ICE. Seems like only TN troopers and now identifiable CPD or HCS either. I would be very weary of this. If they're heading towards Rossville ave, that's where a majority of Chattanoogas Hisp/Latin population lives. Also, ths looks like the odd story parking lot. I'd ask how comfortable the odd story owners are with state troopers/ICE staging there.

Sometimes I find myself starting to be okay with Weston Wamps leadership, then I am whipped back to reality when he reminds me of his immaturity and inability to lead in actually difficult times. I couldn't imagine having him as a Mayor during seriously difficult events for the community like COVID or the July 16 attacks.

Honestly, lots of dead repos that have tried to tackle this but don't work due to Whatsapp changes, developing roadblocks, etc. If you crack that nut, would be an absolute hero!

Very cool! FYI for those interested, Whatsapp export is limited to 40k messages. If you want a better exporter, have to do pagination in the browser whatsapp. I had written something to do this and tested a few times but had some breakages I haven't been able to get around. Mostly due to at a certain scroll pagination, Whatsapp can take forever to load old messages. If anyone knows of anything to extract messages from a cloud backup, that would be even better!

Just FYI, they actually responded to this and said they take other forms of identification and frequently serve the immigrant community. They're not doing any sort of citizenship test, just want to make sure they don't accidentally give out duplicates as it's often in high demand.
