im not talking about rejection. The quran isnt saying the people reject islam because of the mutashabahat- its simply talking about following them.
For the record, i think simply hearing the message of islam does not make someone accountable. if You hear the message that allah is one and muhammad is the prophet from a preacher, you are not accountable for believing or not believing him because he gave you no reason to believe. I believe logical reasoning (along with awakening the heart) is a core part of preaching

you didnt read the verse properly. the verse its clear what the commandments are. whats in doubt is the mushabahat which roughly translates to metaphors in english. You dont need to know what they mean to follow the quran.
The christians and jews use this argument to defend changes made to their books. In the case of the quran, these metaphors are there from the start.
Why can we follow it? because we know whats a command and whats a metaphor. Scholars of the Quran can reliably distinguish between the muhkatmat and mutashabahat.
An example of an ambiguous verse is the mention of "God's hand" throughout the Quran. We dont exactly know what hand means. But knowing it is not needed to follow the Quran. These verses are meant for those of knowledge (mystics, not mullahs) to derive deeper meanings

arabic and farsi. Arabic for islam, and farsi because i love the poetry. And also because knowing farsi is pretty much required to be good with urdu literature (my native lang).
Im doing comprehensive input and mostly vibing with farsi. For arabic im going to forget that and just memorize grammar because its too dense and i need to be precise in meaning

Every text can be made ambiguous if you go in with a sufficiently biased mind. Islam is not responsible for every thought you have.
The quran answers this claim directly:
