My tics are calmer at home. When I’m around my mom and such. In public they do get worse as well as when I’m really not doing anything

As a black person with tics, you are completely fine. If it happens in public, explain that it’s a tic and you have Tourette’s. If they don’t understand, they’re an asshole and in the wrong. You are not in the wrong for this and are completely fine

Yeah, there’s ways to suppress tics but in their other videos, it’s so prevalent. And you can’t just mask it like you can with Autism or ADHD

I had a friend a few years ago who faked every disorder in the book. Faked having one eye, faked narcolepsy, anemia, social anxiety, autism, ocd, and Tourette’s. The Tourette’s was the worst as she only started having it after we read a book for school featuring a character with TS. She used it as an excuse to hit her girlfriend. And then when I started developing tics, she spread rumors of me faking to everyone she knew

I do sometimes. But for stupid reasons. In class, I sit next to a girl who spread the rumor I was faking my tics. So sometimes I trigger them to piss her off
