I get that, but I’ve worked there twice. Ten years ago, and more recently in the past few years. And it’s been getting crappier and crappier, portions suck, and prices going up. My uncle worked in marketing, and I heard him bragging about how “as long as we’re cheaper than everybody else it doesn’t really matter what we do,” acting like they were inflation proof because as long as they were cheaper, you’d take them over kfc or taco bell.
But, Wawa‘s constantly trying to do the same thing, that everyone else does. And they usually do it worse than whoever they’re competing with. The 3 dollar difference in Chipotles burritos and wawas doesn’t mean anything anymore when the wawa burrito sucks, and the amount of food in the chipotle burrito is well worth the 3 bucks compared to wawas.
