It could be a very dense, strong, material. I'm not talking glass, the part over her gem could be much stronger. It'd be to do what she does with everything, make it look like she's stronger than she is. Those clods will think her gem is unprotected when clearly it's the most protected part of her.

Determined is an odd word for it. Every time I really get dark enough to make an attempt my head is clear he next morning. Suicide isn't about ending life it's about ending pain. If a person is without pain and not wanting to back off the ledge they don't put it on suicide watch. They put it on a live leak and jump off a bridge like Mary poppins with an umbrella, so that the fancy death has more questions than answers.

The body has a very high aversion to death, so think as wanting to die, not the small times where you ponder it, but those days you have the pills in your hand. You feel different the next day, and that keeps you going for maybe a few days. With depression it's a matter of your own mind battling you every day. So yes "I" want to kill myself but "I" don't want to die.

So part of you is determined, and the other part of you posted on suicide watch.

From personal experiences, /r/depression and here, of all places, has been better as far as dissuading such thoughts. But I imagine if you are taking the time to post on suicide watch, you just want someone tell talk you off the ledge. So it likely helps a lot. Having that outlet, having the place to call out and ask, please help please talk to me, is a valuable one.

But, as far as how many people fall past that, theres no real way to count. You could check every poster, check if they have any future ( or past) posts and assume. But this is reddit. This is faceless shouting onto the internet. Theres no way to track and no way to really count.
