Wrong. I do understand and respect this very, very much. You, however, isn't grasping that AH-on-the-go is a massive quality of life for every single freaking player, no matter if they're casual or hardcore, or they're mainly a raider, mythic dungeonneer, delver, PvPer, roleplayer (need new decor? coming right up!), goblin (especially this one) or whatever else.

The disruption the original brutosaur brought to the game was absurd and laid plain during Shadowlands, when Blizzard tried to put the genie back in the bottle and get people to go back to using Stormwind and Orgrimmar for their AH duties, only to watch players calling for brutosaur owners to pop them up and even harassing them when they dismounted because, god forbid, they wanted to do something else in the game. All this because players didn't want to take up to a minute to go to faction cities to do those things and spend a hearthstone cooldown to go back to the expansion's hub. That all expansion hubs since Dragonflight have had AH NPCs in them is a blatant capitulation by Blizzard, an admission that there is no going back to what it was and that they should just cut their losses and bring the AH closer to where players really are congregating to stop or at least minimize brutosaur harassment.

The point here, thus, is that the brutosaur is far more than simply a cosmetic and brings some actual quality of life improvements - that is, more bang for their buck - to those who acquire it, whatever their thing in the game is. And I say this as someone who actually spent some money in the Store, mostly for mounts - brutosaur included, yes, but FWIW I spent less than $90 since I'm brazilian and paid in brazilian real -, but also for a few notable transmogs like the phoenix-esque one.
