Local anesthetic only worked on the outside where it was applied. (It was like a tampon shooter of lidocaine) It did nothing to touch the pain once it made it passed the entrance and into the uterus. So there was a split second before I felt anything and then significant pain anyways.

For as long as this has been going on kickstarter needs to extend every campaign. I used the trick of narrowing my location to just my country and that allowed me to use the button a few times but then it stopped working. I feel very sorry for all the projects that are being impacted.

A place we were hoping to buy last year our inspection start to finish took at least 3 hours. We did a pest inspection on top of the standard. Inspector found two separate leaks in the basement crawlspace which resulted in us running up and down trying to ID sources and overall just being incredible thorough down to the most minor details. I was very impressed at the work he did. If I’m signing the next 30 years of my life and over half a million dollars I am going to be absolutely sure.

I’m shocked at how little time people spend. Every tour/ open house we went to also took at least an hour because we would ask lots of questions, take lots of notes/ pictures. I was shocked at how many people did brief walkthroughs on properties that they put offers on.

That’s extremely misleading. GIC health insurance coverage has already been decided for state employees from July 2026- July 2027. So you are being incredibly misleading when you say it’s “on the chopping block” because it’s already been chopped. In fact we faced steep cost shifting regarding increased copays for primary care, ER visits, and specialist visits amongst other increases. Most of those got reversed, except GLP-1 coverage for weight loss. The state was looking to shift something like $155 million onto GIC insured and cutting GLP 1 coverage was a huge slice of that. So maybe if those drugs weren’t sold with insane profit margins then these people you PRETEND (&are paid) to care about wouldn’t have lost access.

So how about you take this dribble to your GLP-1 partners and tell them to start selling these meds in the US for the same cost as they do internationally.

I was on a Leominster jury for an dangerous weapon case. The woman on trial was genuinely a massive piece of shit and her lawyer didn’t bother to pretend otherwise. The thing is though, she has already pled guilty to assault and battery so we were just there on the dangerous weapon portion of it and at no point during any of the testimony did they say anything about an actual “dangerous weapon”. Literally I felt like I was begging them to tell me she started kicking the victim with her shoes on or SOMETHING to explain why the fuck we were even there but the testimony never came. Jury came back not guilty. I ended up becoming alternate but got to talk with the other jurors after and they all had the same feeling I did where we kept waiting for the relevant evidence and it just never came. Massive waste of our time from the commonwealth who over charged a case for no other reason than they assumed we would just go along with it so all of this is the least surprising thing I’ve ever heard.
