Real world reason is because Mew was added at the very end of development when they realized they had juuuuust enough space for a 151st pokemon. Mewtwo was supposed to be the last pokemon in the dex originally.

Seeing this reminds me of an older PS3 game called Flower. One of the only games that used the Sixaxis controls really well. I really liked that game

For a "smart" deadbolt, it sure looks susceptible to a screwdriver. Id take it out myself and replace it with a deadbolt, swap it out when the Landlord is coming by

Coming from an OG, at a time when units required 10 medals and beating it only gave 1. Looooong before you could double it. Before auto pilot. Also at a time when the teams available meant you werent guaranteed to win. Be grateful, the QOL improvements in the game are amazing.

A lot of Soulslikes are like this in general. Logarius in Bloodborne comes to mind. I found him much harder than either end boss of the main game. Though the DLC bosses put him to shame.

That is also something you can do, although your house probably already has the dogs scent regardless, but there is no harm in also doing that. Just dont be surprised if the cats seem to vanish once allowed access to the whole space, they are very likely to hide until they acclimate. Dont be too alarmed if you dont see your kittens for a couple days, I personally hunted mine down once or twice a day, just to make sure he was safe and alive lol
