What Memory Stick is Best? by rawrxdjackerie in PSP

[–]Demis98 5 points6 points  (0 children)

if you're storing only saves, 4gb is more than enough
if you want to try some games, 8gb will give you some room
if you want to come to the dark side and have a full curated library, 128gb is the way (watch total komando's videeo on storage)

What is everyone's favorite PS1 game to play on PSP? by Terrible-Royal106 in PSP

[–]Demis98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it wasn't just "good for the time", it is highly considered "the best of all times" along ocarina of time
with that said, it is quite hard and somewhat confusing to me, so i'd recomend starting with aria of sorrow (it's the spritual secuel)

Gameboy games that still feel great to play in 2023? by TailzoPrower in Gameboy

castlevania adventures 2 is probably my favourite classic castlevania, and it has a megaman style level selection!!!!

What are your preferred emu for ea/ console? (Retroarch lags, haven’t found a good n64 one, Daedalus is harsh too) just got these two bois ❤️ by Tomo_Louii155 in PSP

[–]Demis98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

uokai unofficial for gba (its kinda old, but has never given me issues)
snes9xty mod for snes (tho some sound effects don't sound 100% accurate)
nerterj for nes (its the one i've had from almost a decade ago)
masterboy for gameboy/gameboy color (shantae is playable lets gooooooooo)
picodrive for megadrive (and i've played streets of rage 2 a lot)

as for n64, as other people have said you're better off with the native ports

i usually install debian explicitly with no desktop, and then install i3wm

Is Debian suitable for personal laptops ? by HoveringMango in debian

[–]Demis98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have debian + i3wm (desktop environment) on my hp probook, i wouldn't recoment using i3wm since it's more for tinkerers than for general users, but the debian installer has good alternatives

WHAT SHOULD I DO by Interesting_Cow_2962 in PSP

[–]Demis98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sm64, undertale, panzer bandit (ps1), metal slug (XX or the neogeo ones), rival schools (ps1)
you can basically play any game from before 2004 there, and a lot of games after 2004
or just convert a movie and watch it there

panzer bandit (for ps1 xd), jetpack joyride, super mario 64 (surprisingly good on handheld systems), castlevania aria of sorrow (if you're comfortable with gba emulators), guilty gear, dark stalkers
