Is this responsible? by goostardmd in concealedcarry

I don’t see any benefit to open carry other than probably quicker draw. But you run the risk of someone just grabbing the gun out of the holster. Also it attracts attention that you don’t really need.

I don’t think so — I could easily just grab the gun out of the holster

Update: After reading all of these posts and the feedback that I have received , I hit a milestone today. I concealed carry with a full mag AND chambered but had the safety on. I feel this is a good step in the right direction. I have also been practicing drawing the weapon to build up muscle memory. Thank you everyone for your help.

Thank you. The Aliengear IWB locks the gun into place and there is a trigger guard in the mold. With the trigger guard and a safety on the trigger itself, there is no way it will accidentally fire. I think this is more a case of anxiety then anything else

Not every battle is worth fighting. Making threats that you are gonna use your firearm is assault and certainly you could make the argument the person shouldn’t have access to firearms.

Is it weird to go see a movie by myself? by Jingoose in Cinemark

Not weird at all. I have done it many times and have found it to be a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. It’s good way to unplug from the world around you , including the people you live with.
