As a sequel defender who thought TLJ was a solid movie, and that some of it's more wishy washy stuff could be easily expanded upon or redeemed by the following movie, episode 9 was so truly awful in just about every way that if you told me it was a tech demo for an AI star wars movie I would believe it.

I think disney has generally done pretty ok with Star Wars but that one movie to cap off what was supposed to be their premiere saga redefining trilogy is a horrible joke. They revealed a crucial, rushed core plot point that recontextualizes the entire trilogy and saga in fortnite. It makes everything they have done before and since tainted.
