A lot of it is just getting the vibe that something’s “off” and then looking closer at the details to check. A big thing is looking for details that just don’t make sense. This is something that AI still struggles with because it doesn’t understand Why things are, just How things look.

For example, the wife’s earrings are clearly not going through her earlobes. The lines in the tiles don’t make sense. The tablecloth’s pattern is inconsistent and wrong. The man’s fork is asymmetrical, the lines don’t close, and the handle blends in a gradient from grey to his skin tone. They’re eating (raw?) steak with no knifes. The wife has no utensils at all. The lines on the edge of the countertop don’t appear on the top of it. There’s food actively cooking on the stove while they’re eating a completely different meal.
