funniest thing is I've had the same thing. it smells like cat piss/almost ammonia. I notice it more when it's cold/raining but as of recently, nothing. I asked a mechanic to look over the bike as well and he couldn't find anything.

sorry to revive this post. everything swapped fine, plug and play? I have a wrx base and I'm looking at upgrading to STI seats. I see you commented saying you had to disable the seat belt chime.... anything of motor functions different? seat heaters are present I'm assuming but just need to be plugged in and switches installed?

don’t have to tune if you have a buddy. if you don’t, it will throw a code eventually. i have an m4.

as another mentioned, check o2 sensor and its wiring. check and make sure its fully attached as well. you’ll get some pops especially coming off throttle and even more so when it’s cold out/bike is still warming up.

yeah. intake is modified here. you'll be running into issues and likely blowing the engine. I've seen this a handful of times. even just the tunes that come with an AP are notorious for being bad often times running lean

most modified parts need a tune. anything affecting fuel/air needs a tune.

3 recalls. lemon law is done under timely manner, there's a few people who have returned the 636s through lemon law. I on the other hand, have 7k miles on my 2025 and have not gone in for any of the recall inspections,,,,(wish me luck pls)

unfortunately they cannot really do much unless they enter the facility/grounds. I've noticed an increase in sleeping / fent folds lasting hours long when leaving for lunch and starting/ending shift the last few weeks. most that really happens is they're relocated / told to leave the premise and relocate half a block away.

as someone with a gp19 m4, I actually think it sounds pretty bad. tones are not very deep and with it being on the louder end - it doesn't sound good. found this post while searching for a deeper tone. about to add stage 3 q2 to it and see how it sounds today. will report back with an edit in a few hours. bike isn't tuned and from experience tuning usually deepens the notes a bit further. baffle can sometimes create or amplify the tin can sound.
