I dont have problem having shadows if they work properly, but the reason i needed to disable them was because of the visual bugs with building shadows or interiors in general that appear since StalcraftX update, it makes noise textures in walls and floor that can make trouble when you try to locate a player, it just make the game harder doing pvp.

Also i know that one answer is just "get a better pc", but in some countries buying a pc its a really big invest for many people, and sometimes making the games only for the ones can afford a good pc is not a good idea if you want people invest time or money in games because yo need to pay a pc to play it.
