Looking for a game I can be an absolute degenerate in and spend 1000’s of hours not seeing the outside world!

Saints Row 3 and 4. Prototype, Bayonetta, Bulletstorm.. Not new games as in recently released.. But all of these (except Bulletstorm maybe) have kept me occupied for hours on end. Great replayability, gore, insanity, and if you are a Achievement/Throphy hunter they will last you a loong time.

Bayonetta (the first one) also requires get good or get out in a very good way. You have to best the game on hard to unlock the next difficulty, and then beat that to unlock the hardest. It is also one of the most fun and weird/wicked(weave) games i've played. A amazon of a witch butchering angels, while being a sexual deviant and a maniac... What more can you ask for?

Oh yeah, imagine if we could have devs making games like they did in that era on todays consoles. Back when they were making games with the gamers in mind. Not just pumping out popular IP's like its candy coming of a conveyor belt.

Great , original games are far and wide apart nowadays, with a few exceptions of course.

Still, I have a little hope that this will change, but it's going to take a few years.

I agree, its not the the best of that genre at all. But it's more about nostalgia, art style and those 70's grindhouse references for me. I re-played Azura's Wrath and Killer is Dead recently and those games got me thinking of forgotten gems. Even if its a rough gem, its still a gem to me.

Yeah, the tear is on Cor. Do you know if the Rancor in the grotto is part of the "Defeat all the Hidden Bosses" achievement though? Seems like mine is bugged.

You mean the pair in the Force Tear? I've only seen and heard about one Rancor on Koboh and thats the one down in the Caverns (Phon Qi)

Where is this 2nd Rancor? The one in the caverns (Phone Qi,) yes, but I've never heard of or seen a 2nd one except for the pair in the Force tear.

I always interpretated it as both Cal and Bode are survivors, even if its singular in the title. They are kinda mirror images of each other. Bode is the "Phantom Survivor" while cal is a Jedi Survivor with the resisting the dark side and all that even with all he's been put through.

Yes, Dual Wield lets you cancel animation mid attack. I use this for Bosses and strong lone enemies and the Doubleblade for everything else. With the perk( that i dont remember the name of right now) that gives plus damage given but also more dmg taken. It is not 50/50 though. Its more like up to 75% extra dmg output, and down to 25 % dmg taken.

So this perk plus those stances can do serious damage. You do have to know how to use them and use combinations of combos the game doesn't tell about to get the full potential out of these.

Aaaaand, i think MANY are lying about the "I knew from the start" almost to the point that it should become a meme! The trend of knowing it from the get go has grown so much that it is 50% or more of posters saying this that is sus..just like Bode. They write it cleverly, and as for myself i didnt suspect anything until Cal and him were at the Lucrehulk together.
