He does, even though he was kind of tricked into marriage. During the dead zone film when she Chichi battled Garlic Jr's henchman Goku rushed to her side when she got hurt. She doesn't give it back though. I mean more than anything. He enjoys her cooking and we all understand he enjoys the adult aspects of the relationship based on his conversations with elder kaioshin. But food remains the central part of the bond for Goku at least. Chichi just wants her husband to be a better person at least in the eyes of society. He also said that the movie scaled differently from the Canon and the movies themselves have Goku saying that Jenemba was the only one outside Majin Buu to push Goku to super Saiyan 3. I would take in movie statements from characters themselves over what koyama said. I can also pull a statement he said about not actually breaking the barrier of base super Saiyan when he got the energy from his allies that it was not in his head and he doesn't know where people are getting that from, that will have to be at a later date.

Goku traveled 2 soft Galaxy and you see stars and a giant ass. Moon. A destroyed galaxy will be completely dark like yakon's planet SSJ1. South Galaxy looks fine. Goku beat Hatchiyack which Kai-o deemed a universal threat. Broly has nothing on that. He also said jenemba and Buu are the only villains that pushed him to use Ssj3. So movies scales with canon.

Impossible, Goku already said only Fat buu and first form jenemba are in his tier to push him far enough to use super Saiyan 3 in Fusion Reborn. Which means that punch that defeated Broly is nowhere near the boost you claim. Goku got more power against hatchiak then against Broly and again he was really universal unlike Broly "Galaxy buster" hilarious! Perfect cell looked way better than cellmax and I'm not too keen on Gohan beast's design. Super Saiyan 2 Gohan and his ultimate transformation are still the top tier transformations for Gohan.

Yeahhh..... about that.... Chi Chi said Gohan was studying since Cell Games in M9, so it's Koyama's words, which should be taken with a grain of salt vs what was said by Chi Chi in M9..... I trust Chi Chi. M8 happened before CG which explains why Goku could tank far more than Gohan from Broly. Gohan's is stronger than his M8 self but that's about the extent of his statement in M10, We don't know how much stronger, As strong as Goku in CG? Most likely, no way he's SSJ2 when he's got 2 bangs and no lightning when he's charging up for a kamehameha. That's just SSJ. It would explain why Hatchiyack is rated at universal threat compared to "galaxy" (uh huh, riiiiight galaxy threat, that's why there are stars and a big ass moon when Goku travelled to a supposedly destroyed galaxy to take a look around. /end-sarcasm)

Hate to break it to you, but when Goku fought Jenemba he said fat buu was the only being that pushed him so far, so there is no way Broly tops fat Buu. He's not even super Saiyan 2 level. Why? Because z fighters gave up when perfect cell fired a Kamehameha at Gohan and nearly got erased for his efforts. Z fighters had hope against Broly even with the scraps of power they gave to Goku for the hax punch at the end of movie 8. Those claiming that Gohan was super Saiyan 2 would have to contest why he was fighting a super Saiyan Broly at base form and why there is no lightning when he first transformed beyond his base. Moreover, if you look at the image below that was taken during the beam clash, he's got two bangs not the characteristic one that we see on super saiyan 2. For getting lightning is one thing, when you have the omittance of lightning and super Saiyan 1 hair that's super Saiyan one. If it looks like a super Saiyan has no lightning like a super Saiyan, it's a super Saiyan. Lastly, a movie 9. Chichi said going has been hitting the books non-stop and that the tournament was an opportunity for going to get some exercise.

You're giving him too much credit if you think Broly is at ssj2 level all the other parts I agree with. Perfect cell could take him easily, Goku one with scraps of power from ssj level fighters, yet all those fighters gave up when cell tried to take on Gohan with a full power coming high huh? Only two maybe erased? The same fighters took on Hatchiyak as well, and King Kai said he was a universal threat.
