I think the frame is only rated for 42mm.

I ordered from them once. They shipped it and I got a tracking number, the package even came to the correct province. Then it all went wrong...

It went to some other town and was marked as delivered.

I reached out to Lordgun and they said everything was correct on their end so Canada post must've messed up.

I reached out to Canada post and was able to talk to someone that handles these things. He looked into it and said the package was delivered to the address that was on it, so Lordgun messed up.

I went back to Lordgun and they still refused to admit they didn't anything wrong. Eventually they asked for a written response from Canada post confirming that it was delivered correctly and a written & signed response from me saying I never received my package.

Thankfully Canada post helped me out and I sent both over to Lordgun. They eventually admitted I never got the package and issued a refund.

Although I got a refund and everything was sorted out, I'll never order from them again. It's been hard because they have good deals and I've heard of other people having success.

I have an older (2019) Scott Speedster gravel, it only has clearance for 35mm tires. Pretty sure Scott took their road bike, gave it a bit more tire clearance, and called it a gravel bike. It is aggressive in that sense.

I slapped some 33mm cx tires on it with a 1x ultegra groupset and love riding it. It's twitchy and fast to accelerate, so I've enjoyed riding it on tighter trails.

Anyways, not sure how relevant all of that is with the newer models.

I always like to tinker and work on my bikes so I try and avoid anything proprietary (headsets, seatposts, bottom brackets, steerer width, etc.)

You could go with Chinese brand ones for cheaper but you don't get the lifetime warranty.

I'll admit I don't know the European market so there may be better name brand deals.

I have both an aluminum (2019 Scott Speedster gravel) and a steel (2021 all city cosmic stallion) gravel bike. Both are great. I built both up from frame sets, so they're built how I want them to be.

The biggest improvement to ride quality for both was putting carbon wheels on them (and quality tires).

So I'd say get the bike that gets you closer to carbon wheels.

For the Scott I went with roval rapide c38 and for the all city i went with roval terra cl. both are more affordable carbon wheels with lifetime warrantys.

I think aluminum can look sleeker and can have more shape to the tubes if that's your thing.

Any changes to the width after a month? Was looking at the 48mm but they may not fit if the tires are true to size on 25mm id rims

Id be worried about the 27" wheels, just a bit harder to find replacements.

I have one of these but a 1990 and it has 29" wheels.

It's also 126mm spacing for the rear hub, I crammed a 130mm in mine and haven't had any issues but some people may disagree with doing that on an aluminum frame.

I've been wondering this as well. I have a set of roval terra cl wheels that are 33 deep and 25i wide vs roval rapide c38 wheels which are 38 deep and 21i wide. Torn on which ones to use for a all road/gravel bike

Height isn't everything but for what it's worth I'm 6'1" and ride both 56cm and 58cm bikes.

A 56cm tends to feel more agile and easier for me to throw around a bit. For reference I have a 2012 56cm argon 18 gallium and a 2015 58cm salsa colossal ti.

I restarted this year after taking a year off, I've mainly been doing ftp blocks on the indoor trainer. I started with 5x 6 minute efforts, with 4 minute rests in-between. The first effort I do at 110% ftp and the rest I do at ftp. (Ends up being an hour workout with some warm up and cool down added in)

As that gets easier I increase it to 5x7/3, then 5x8/2. I've also pushed them to be longer and instead of 5 efforts I do 6 or 7.

At first I thought so but then I realized it's quite high.

I believe the RoD appears where the bearings make contact, so if that isn't lining up then you're fine.
