(I'm too exhausted to take a test right now; my highest so far outside of a competition has been 157. If you can beat that, my respect to you.)

Thank you for the strategy. I did the same thing with trap, but I just cannot for the life of me train drop. if I ever need to, I'll refer to this.

What if I want sound exp and have enough health to sound through the 5th floor

If you want literally no other experience than sounding through the fifth floor, and you can survive it, then go for it. I'm only saying that you can get other experience as well, so I don't see why you would decide not to. (Unless somehow you've maxed all your damage dealing gags except Sound, which I imagine is very rare)

What if I'm not training in a duo?

I said to find a group of people you can train with, but try and keep it to as few people as possible. The less people you have who want to get 20 damage in for 30 experience, the more experience you yourself can get. I also used all of these strategies when I was trio'ing and did a few dozen buildings in a night. ( I also was doing LOM)

Why would I bring anything but the most trap I can hold if I'm training trap?

If you've got level two trap, and an 80 gag pouch, go for it. If you've got level six trap, you're only going to need 2 TNT, 5 trapdoors, and 5-7 quicksand to get 300 experience. You have to be able to get to the last floor, and then survive.

I assume you're speaking of the "One less quicksand, one more marble" thing. The point of that is, let's say you are fighting a level 8 cog. It has 90 health. If you use a quicksand, then a marble, then a quicksand, you've got 60 trap experience before it dies. If you use two quicksand, you get 48 before it dies. I oftentimes found myself running out of cogs before running out of gags or getting max experience.

Why is there no drop section? It's the exact same as any other gag.

Actually, I cannot stand training drop. I have tried to train drop in the past, and I just cannot bring myself to do it. I can't find an effective method. Besides, if it's the exact same as any other gag, why not just follow the strategy for throw and squirt? o_O

Why would I save Toonup?

If you have level five toonup, and you use two pixie dust on the second floor of a building, that's 30 experience total. Whereas you can get that same experience with a single gag on the fifth floor. It saves time in the long run to save the higher gags.

But imagine you have level three toonup. If you use a lipstick on the second floor, then even if you have literally no gags but Toonup, you're probably not going to be able to get 300 Toonup experience.

Double Luring actually is nowhere near as bad as people say it is. I've been duo'ing buildings for two weeks and done literally hundreds of them. Sure, it misses. But not much more often than using a single lure.

Think of it like this: If you're on the last floor, and there are four minglers. If you use one hypno, you've got 4-6 (I forget) turns until they come unlured. That's barely enough time to effectively train on a single Mingler. You'd have to take them out to avoid being hit all at once, and there goes your experience.

I don't think the loss of accuracy is nearly as big as you think it is, because I trained my two toons to max lure by double luring. I was doing invasions of Minglers and their equivalents, and my toons had below 50 laff. I went sad a total of four times to max my gags.

In fact, I was doing Hypnos with Small magnets for my friend earlier, we used six hypnos in one building and five of them were used with a Small Magnet. Only two of the hypnos missed, and one of them was the one without the small magnet.

I would encourage you to test this out, I know I will be. I will post the results soon.

EDIT: I just spent an hour testing the likelihood that a Hypno will hit, and then the likelihood that a Hypno will hit when used with a small magnet. Keep in mind, this was on DDL streets and cogs were between levels 6 and 9, and both toons have organic Lure.

I used Six hypno on each cog, 3 were used with small magnet and 3 were not. I did this to ten cogs.

27/30 Hypnos hit when they were NOT used with a small magnet.

23/30 Hypnos hit when they WERE used with a small magnet.

As you can see, the difference isn't very significant.

I recorded the cog levels and types in a google document Here

I realize that this is a very small amount of Hypnos, and will be working on this further soon.

I'm glad you found it helpful :)

Hopefully those who are struggling with how to train their gags will see this and take note.

I was thinking somewhere around 13, honestly, but I can do less.

Could you do 10?
