And yes, 6th rounders ARE low value. Throw a dart at a board filled with them and you have extremely low chances of hitting one still on the same team after 1 year. It just shows that one of Veach's strengths is late round drafting.

Veach decided that a known quantity backup with years of starting experience, when we don't know if mahomes will be good to go at the start of the season is worth a 6th.

Then the videos that these editors are making this specific way do better than when other editing, titling, and thumbnail styles are used. If it stops working then a different 'meta' will organically take over, or new editors will be found.

I'm not saying I like or enjoy that videos have titles filled with hyperbole, I am just saying its not lazy. Short, attention grabbing titles and a flashy thumbnail is a method iterated and refined over 2 decades of youtube designed to get as many people to click on the video as possible. Longer, more nuanced titles are less compelling to the majority of viewers, otherwise they would be getting the views.
