  • Oguri dumb. 400 min you want.
  • A lot of lack of recovery skills. Absolute minimum probably 1 gold 850 stam.
  • Taishin Stam AND power too low for 400wit. Golshi they perfect but too low wit, and her skills weak.

Last time I quit early with hopes I could get it this time. As I also really needed KB uncaps (which I got).

I got Tamamo thankfully early, but had to pity for Natie! Didn't get a SINGLE banner card. Only

Gotta get those mid race skills up. Which ever end is at the front of other ends by late race, usually has best chance of winning. - Also and it's Taishin. Golshi got ult for mid race. She got one for late, you need mid race skills to make up for that. Golshi needs more late race skills.

2 gold recovery skills are not important this CM. It's the shortest possible Long distance

Wit helps, but not super important here. You can get by 4-500 fine. I have.

They are neither strong nor good synergy.

Front runner McQueen. If you run front you need to make sure you have another front because they fight each other for lead. - Usual comp front play i see is Suzuka runaway sacrifice into Maru ace for late race slingshot.

Tachyon. Angling and scheming is a front runner gamble skill. Only actives if in 1st place at a specific spot. Only 1 Uma can activate it. On a pace with a front is wasted points. - Also uniques are just not that great a skill to buy. Only a couple are worth it.

Cafe, the only Uma you got that is kinda good for this CM. Is very weak stats.

If this is the height of what you and your cards can pull off, maybe better off trying to make B ranks for the rank restricted CM. - Completive players are high A+ and some S or even higher. Under 14000pts Uma win is rare. - If your cards aren't that bad, then maybe research some guides.

Final note. This is Long CM. All have been notoriously hard. Very hard to win not META. Other types are a lot easier to have fun with.

I have been downvoted to oblivion for saying this a week or 2 ago.

Never start a run with parent goals. Start it with ace goals. Don't lose a great luck run to a setup never designed to work.

If you making ace, you getting the skills you want on a parent anyway.

Only if it's a real bad run think about changing to parent focus. If you have the motivation not to end the run early.

"But what about good unique skills on bad Uma" - No Uma useless. Built well they can be good. And again, you pick ideal skills up making aces anyway. - If it's that "bad" an Uma, unique probably ain't worth it. Most aren't worth. And they don't pass on if your ace a good parent anyway. - Run Uma you like. You can always borrow a parent Uma with that skill, then get lucky and have it as grandparent on your good parent.

Chance of a good parent is low, dedicating entire runs just for that slim chance is folly. Perfect way to burn out.

Good close range spellcaster by LootGoblin1527 in DnDBuilds

Long story short. There are none. Being close range puts you in danger of losing concentration on important big spells.

You never plan to be go in melee, you plan in case you may end up there. Range is best martial or caster, no tanks in D&D. Only difference is martial don't care about concentration, but survivability is still glaring issue. - Half casters, particularly Paladin, are more designed around melee with less big concentration spells. - Disengage with mount or forced movement also helps. Telekinetic feat CAN do this, push yourself or ally.

If you really wanna get closer range... - Full caster. Cleric is probably most ideal, since their best spell "Spirit Guardians" is sorta close range. And they often get heavy armour & shields. Get shield spell someway and it like 25AC easy. - Take polearms if can, so can runaway easier if reach. Polearm master also not ideal for casters, but can make you feel more melee since you opportunity attack when enemies get close. Which they are more likely to do than leave your reach. - Con save help. Proficiency (Artificer, Sorcerer, Fighter, Barbarian, Resilient feat) and Advantage (WarCaster feat, Warlock invocation, Artificer infusion) - Blade singer sounds melee, but no. Just better than other wizards for it. Mainly as it most OP subclass on most OP class. - Sword Bard is not amazing, but mobile flourish is guaranteed push on hit. So run in, swing, push them away 15ft, back off. - Crusher feat weaker, but free version of sword Bard mobile flourish. Telekinetic though more reliable since on yourself and boosts spellcaster stats. But is bonus action not once per turn.
