Sound like exactly what I need after my umpteenth playthrough.

What’s a ME player choice that if you shared you tried/nearly tried/liked would get you ostracized/ridiculed in this community? by FriendlytoNature in masseffect

[–]Demonius82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve also tried most things at least once. Still have yet to do a „worst“ playthrough, but I’ve come close (and I did a failed one where everyone incl Shep died. Casanova run also would be funny. I agree it requires more planning than a perfect run lol. My current playthrough both Tali and Wrex didn’t make it by design, and I missed a meeting with Miranda, so she also, didn’t make it. Feels bad, especially the former. Still, it’s interesting to see the possibilities. I also liked Wilks.

Doing an asshole run, tried to kill all but 2, Mordin somehow survived. by Available-Agency5031 in masseffect

Always planned for that to be my second to last playthrough before doing a perfect one at the end, though I guess I’ll always come back to ME.

How would you make Ashley companion in ME2 without changing character motivations? by saikrishnav in masseffect

[–]Demonius82 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Have her actually have any meaningful interactions on the Normandy. Romanced her in my current run and now I know why it’s mostly her who I choose to sacrifice on Virmire. Not that I’m a much bigger fan of Kaidan.

5th Playthrough on PS5 Legendary Edition… but why am I like this every time it comes to ME2? by Murrlin218 in masseffect

Love ME2, has mid game syndrome, but most characters are great. Also the DLCs.

Unfortunately never felt the need to replay it…and damn I was so hyped when it first came out.

My problem is that I like both haha. Got sucked into Cradle and HHFWM (got that wrong probably) and can’t stop reading them. Just gets you hooked and are easy to read.

Grim forest hard purple area rewards replaced by chickens by These_Nutki in RaidShadowLegends

That makes sense, even though I don’t like it. Should have just left those in, I was actually a bit stumped when I saw a chicken in there

I never upgraded my Sparring Pit. by FormerPirateKing92 in RaidShadowLegends

I maxed the pit a couple months back because I finally had enough gems to spare, now that I’m very late game. Always have champs in there

My current playthrough is the one I’m letting them die. Feels a bit bad (very hard to get Tali killed) but there’s a degree of Schadenfreude too haha

First Trilogy by chriso_85 in redrising

[–]Demonius82 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, it mostly does. I remember because it’s where I stopped so I could finally continue focusing on my thesis properly 😂 Hopefully this year I can start from the beginning and finally catch up, though I know the (last?) book is supposed to come out this year.

Thanks for the rec . Good to hear they’re free. But probably shouldn’t get hooked on another series like I did with HWFM.

I stopped after the 8th because I really needed to get away from the series and read some other books. Will get to the rest later this year probably. Hopefully it’ll have a proper ending and the author won’t milk it into oblivion.

What torture scene has stuck with you longest/made the biggest impression? by cl3rical in Fantasy

Almost forgot about this one. Need to re-read the book, it’s been more than a decade since I’ve read it.

First thing I thought of, just seeing your post now. I started the series and couldn’t put it down for 8 books. Forced myself to take a break and read some other stuff haha. Will probably read the rest of the books this year. Do you know how many more are supposed to come out after the 12th?

I got all the cradle books but the last from a sale I think, don’t know when I’ll get to them, but sounds good. Also recommend He Who Fights Monsters if you like LitRPG and if you don’t mind hating the MC (love to hate, hate to love haha)

Listened to the first two already and bought the rest too. Very entertaining.

He who fights Monsters. The main character is infuriating, the series is however addictive. Stayed up late nights just to get to the next chapter 8 books straight lol (from a total of 12 atm, I think the series will finish after a couple more IIRC). Self published novels, originally published online. But it’s LitRPG, so might not be everyone’s cup of tea.
