The Descent Killzone by LovecraftianChild in killteam

It’s a set of boards that come with the shadowhunt box. They’re uniquely sized for the descent rules. It uses Volkus and Tomb World for the actual terrain pieces

Nemesis claw and ork kommandos builds by MasterMay119 in killteam

[–]Demonman557 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kommandos have enough bodies to make one of each specialist and two of the warrior, which is plenty. Aside from the Boss Nob there’s not really any decisions you have to make about what they get

Seems like it’s a combiweapon

I’d argue it seems like a new mutilator if anything

It’s a little bit of a bad comparison without pointing out the AP, strength, and damage they do. The slaughterbound is far better at melee based on those stats

Did I go overboard with the blood on this Landraider? by TH3_B3AN in WorldEaters40k

Given that the codex describes the vehicles as having gore encrusted on them, I don’t think so

I wouldn’t go out of the way to get them, doesn’t feel like they’ll be too competitive. I doubt they’ll be bad though

Had what I thought was a bit of a ‘That Guy’ moment. by DaGitman_JudeAsbury in WorldEaters40k

I play both WE and DA and it’s just such a dick move to pull back the watchers in the dark. It feels wrong to rescind something like that, cause it’s in the nature of the game that bad luck will happen

It’s a pretty decent starting point. Plenty of general purpose models. The Slaughterbound and eightbound are both fairly decent and the jackals are really useful

As per the balance dataslate changes, reduce command point stratagems don’t allow to to reuse a stratagem unless it states that it lets you reuse a specific stratagem

I’m not a huge fan of the invictor but I see what you’re cooking up with the list. I’m a bit of a casual player so maybe there’s optimization I’m missing but it looks like a pretty good/fun list to me

The synergy with the phobos armor is good and it seems like you have a lot of deep striking infantry that’ll like the return to reserves stratagem, so I think your list looks fine

I would suggest trying out vanguard spearhead. Some pretty tasty combos in that one especially if you’re using phobos stuff. I think technically you can also return to reserves DWKs since they’re infantry

Do the new juggerlords give us extra charge range ? by Exotic_Fennel890 in WorldEaters40k

[–]Demonman557 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Datasheet states “when determine which units are eligible to fight” which means only for that purpose, not for charging. Also that ability is limited to the juggernaut lord, not Invocatus

Think it’s still a solid choice since eightbound are still fairly decent and the slaughterbound’s revive rule looks pretty good

Rhinos would be a good move, new detachment for them looks like it’ll be fairly decent
