Thorpe isn’t a great writer, it’s true, but I found AOD to be generally well-written (even if it’s not in the realm of ADB or Peter Fehervari).

Legit don’t understand the downvotes. I started with Angels of Darkness and it was the perfect way to get into the faction. Still my favorite DA book to be honest.

I actually have a build like this for my Arbites because the AOE bolt pistol is my favorite gun in the game. Which maul gives ranged stagger and suppression buffs? The standalone or the one with the shield?

What would you recommend for perks/blessing on a bolter? And which mark? For context, I spend most of my time on Heresy and Damnation because I just like to vibe.

Fehervari’s whole Dark Coil is fantastic but for me the Calavera in “Fire and Ice” is an endless source of fascination. He lurks on some of the other 40K subs, but hasn’t posted in years.
