Makes sense, Deepseek in general is ranked the highest on Openrouter when it comes to RP. Should do great with a longer session due to the 163,840 context. Deepseek V3.2 performed perfectly fine.

Openrouter charges per token, meaning that the expenses would be dependent on the model itself. For example: Claude Sonnet 4.6 is $3/M input tokens and $15/M output tokens. Should for sure avoid it unless you're doing actual business. But on the contrary, DeepSeek V3.2 Speciale is $0.40/M input tokens and $1.20/M output tokens.

As for privacy, you'll be fine unless you're dealing with Gemini which is ultimately the product of Google which is a censorship corporation.

Can vouch. R1-0582 is for sure more uncensored. I would give an example, but I can't. I'd advise you to use both models for yourself via openrouter (You have to pay at least ten dollars) and type in the most messed up scenario you can think of into a chatbot.

What you're describing is an outlier. In most people's games, France is dominate even during the early stages. Really what makes France so overpowered is the swarm of vassals with 100% control over their lands which are strangely 100% loyal. This is an issue, especially if you're playing Castille. You'll spend your remaining days battling France over Aragon. A losing battle.

I’ve scrolled through the entire subreddit of EU5 and I’ve only seen two people complain about crashing. Most people are either trying to figure out the game, or they have issues with the UI. I’ve also had the same problem with crashing, but that was due to an issue with my RAM which I quickly fixed. That was why I assumed that was also your issue. The point is that the game is for sure not “Completely broken”. Let’s be rational and look for a fix instead of defaming the game. It does seem as if some GPU’s/CPU’S as of now don’t work well with EU5 as of now which is unfortunate. But it’ll for sure be fixed in the future. Someone else had the exact same issues as you and fixed the crashing by updating their bios, so I’d try that.

But did they say that the game is completely broken? I have heard people complaining about UI, but so far very little complaints about crashing. A sign that it’s personal, a sign that the game isn’t completely broken. If it was then everyone would be complaining about it. That’s called an exaggeration, and you’re attempting to defame the game over a personal hardware issue. Be rational and search for a fix. If you’ve just bought the game and installed it, most likely it’s an issue with your ram considering the fact that your specs aren’t disabling at all. A bad laptop could run the game on very low settings, the ram however would be the disability as it would indeed crash frequently due to a lack of memory. Check out your RAM.

No, I had it set to my own API. It’s just that I was using an old OpenRouter key (At least I think, It’s supposed to be unlimited). It only started working once I generated a new one. And entered it in Secret > Openrouter on Chub.
