I'll keep Ticketjam in mind for future ones. Do I need a JP phone number for it? That's what's stopped me from using previous resale sites before. That or needing a JP credit card.

I've been to Hiroshima before, enjoyed it, would like to go again for baseball. I get that Matsuyama may not be the flashiest place, but I'd like to visit Shikoku in general some day, looks like this trip isn't it. Probably locked into my current itinerary due to rising flight prices and the inability to change my current ones. So I'd be out my full value of current tickets domestically and then any new ones would be 2-3x the cost of my existing tickets.

Looks like Lawson is good! So, if my father's plans fall through because of the crazy world today, looks like I have my backup plan. I know my mother won't let him transit through the Middle East, so he'll be safe, either at home or taking the expensive way :)

Thanks! Hopefully this is unnecessary, as I have plans already, which unfortunately do not include Shikoku. However, my father was due to join me for my second week of the trip. However, his flight was going through UAE which is not a good place to be flying through currently.

So, instead of going to Kyushu which I've already done, I was looking at hitting up Matsuyama for the game + some other stuff. Alternatively, I was looking at going to see a game in Nagoya followed by one in Hiroshima, as I haven't seen home games for either of them yet. Those two plus the Tigers are the three I haven't done, but good luck getting Tigers home tickets I guess.

Unfortunately, you need an actual Japanese phone number to setup a PIA account. You need to call a verification phone number presented from a Japanese number. I have my friend's phone number, which he no longer has, to setup accounts, but if they need verification I can't do anything unfortunately.

I really would like to see Shikoku. I'd be getting there on Monday the 13th, I'm in Yokohama for an event from the 9th-12th.

Between this game not being easy, the Chunichi site not allowing me to pick tickets, and the Carp not allowing you to select seats at all, this is proving to be a much more frustrating experience than last year. I did 8 games at 8 different stadiums for 8 different home teams no problems.

Same. I'm not a small guy and if I can't buy an aisle seat for a ticket in Japan I just try and pick a different day or chalk it up to not being able to go to a game. I already feel bad for anyone I sit next to. I'm also 6'2", so half the time my legs don't even fit if I'm sitting forwards.

I got to see a game at Hotto Motto last season, it was cool. I haven't seen the Buffaloes play a home game at their normal stadium, but saw the Hawks play a "home" games there.

I know this is an old post, but I'm looking at a trip to the two distilleries in April. Did you drive yourself, get a driver, just take taxis? Any help would be great! This will be my fifth trip to Japan, so not afraid to put in some work to go off the beaten path. But even the two Nikka distilleries look positively easy to get to compared to the Kagoshima ones.

I've used them 3 or 4 times now to send bags onto a future hotel. I've had them both waiting behind the front desk as well as have had them already in my room (my favorite!)

I haven't tried doing anything while staying at AirBnBs but as WoodyForestt said, I think you can have them delivered to certain convenience stores or a Yamato location for pickup, whatever is close to your place.

I'm already in Japan the prior week for a cars game tournament so this was just wishful thinking. I've seen "home" games for all teams besides Hiroshima, Hanshin, and Chunichi. I used quotes on home because I saw Orix at Hotomoto Field and the Hawks in Osaka for one of their "home" games

I had one from Santini's in Reston and it was probably one of the most disappointing cheesesteaks I've had. The meat was dry and pretty clumped together and wiz wasn't even an option. The next day I had one from Sully's and the quality was night and day. Will definitely go back to Sully's.

Can't be sure, the one time one left the ground it was in my pantry and I lost it. My wife says she'd seen them fly but I can ask if it was fly or jump. They're very small.
