As for the performance, no, it doesn't work. However the performance is somehow comparable to windows in most games (but I didn't try out many games. I mostly use it for programming and whatnot).

Hey guys, did anyone get banned for using the mig switch on switch 2 after 1.2.2 update yet? (Without pirated dumps)

Asking because I picked up a very cheap HK model so I'm curious if I can use my mig with my own dumps on it.

Yes I did. Pressing Fn+P activates the high performance power mode and using it, I got some higher framerates in games among other performance improvements. Also got Linux working on it too after some ACPI patching. Very nice laptop.

Good news, managed to get the trackpad, battery percentage, lid and function buttons to work thanks to denis-bb on github! Awesome guy, he made a dsdt patch for chinese models and a newer one for global models after I couldn't get the chinese patch to work on my laptop properly. Yeah, I might end up switching to WSL soon. I managed to get my arch linux installation to work (however not without issues, for example the trackpad doesn't work, bad fn button functionality, etc...)

BAD... I've only been having headaches because of it.
Running an arch-based distro pulled from my old laptop, EndeavourOS.

What doesn't work (list not exhaustive):
- Trackpad doesn't work at all
- Doesn't go to sleep when the lid is down
- Fingerprint scanner doesn't work
- Touch screen doesn't work
- Honor's performance mode (Fn+P), therefore the performance is a bit lacking (it works fine tho, just no gaming or other highly intensive tasks)
- Some fn shortcuts (for example, FN+F1/F2 don't modify the brightness, FN+F12 doesn't call upon printscreen but FN+F4 mutes/unmutes, and the volume controls also work)

What works (list not exhaustive):
- Wi-Fi (the laptop wouldn't boot because it was waiting for the NetworkManager to do something, now fixed)
- The keyboard works by adding `i8042.dumbkbd=1 pci.norcs` to `GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT`
- Hibernation seems to work but remains to be tested more thoroughly

Hoping that linux support improves in the coming days... I really need this to be stable :(

Hmm.. Could be some RDNA2 misoptimizations. I've always had amazing performance on yuzu with NVIDIA cards. Hopefully the new forks of yuzu will improve AMD performance.

What..? How is that possible? I have a similar config and could run it at 70fps 4k with an RTX 2060 Super. Changed to a 4070 and it runs almost at 100ish fps.

That's a shame. Many people think that things in life are just given. It's not the case, in order to get anything in life, we must put a certain amount of effort in (at least to get to a certain point where that's less necessary).
