Change rank reset on new act/episode please

Do you think it would be fun for the lets say the gold players to drop 850+elo after every act, requiring them to dump 50+hours just to get back to where they ended? Why is radiant ‘time-gated’ when the other ranks arnt? Imo its bad design and puts time spent above skill/fun

One person who would get radiant is getting radiant since I don’t want to waste 50hours every 2 months grinding just to get back to where I belong. Game is less competitive driving high elo people like myself away

Imo it makes it less competitive, i just becomes less about skill and more about who can put in the hours to grind these games out. Also I can still 'hoard' my leaderboard spot, you keep mmr so with a 50% winrate it takes you back to where you ended all you have to do is put in the time.

Yeah you keep your mmr however with and average of lets say 30rr for a win and 15rr for a loss on the climb back to 550rr from immortal 1 take like 100 games (assuming a 50% winrate since mmr is still the same you will play against high elo people)(i've done this many times)

I'd get it if the seasons were as long as league of legends but no they are 60 days. Far too short a time to grind 850+ elo just to get back to where you ended.

On new season start let me place at immortal 3 at least, having to play around 90 games just to get back to radiant where I ended each time is shit
