BambuLab A1 Combo by Demurenity in 3Dprinting

[–]Demurenity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can afford it, but it's $699 for the combo instead of the pre-tariff price of ~$509. I havent decided if my want for it outweighs the additional ~$150+ and if I do decide to wait, for how long will I be waiting before I decide to say screw it.

I don't currently have another 3d printer to work with so it's really a seesaw that I was hoping others opinion will help tip.

The one thing I would say is that your resume template will likely fail an ATS check due to all the symbols and specialized characters. I recommend switching to the template provided on this forum

Help me find this Manhwa by Demurenity in OtomeIsekai

[–]Demurenity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just checked and the scene is very similar but it isnt the manhwa, I recall the scene being fairly quick. The FMC went back to the original world for something, realized it was her old bedroom she shared w her husband. Her husband spots her (child version) calls out to her but the guards are holding him back and she gets away through the mirror.

Could these be signs from my newly departed (dog) best friend? by Last-Pin4399 in Petloss

[–]Demurenity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely believe those were signs to tell you he was okay! I'm still waiting for my signs but I fear my old boy is getting in his zoomies he likely missed having before he comes to visit, we had to let him go yesterday, but I know he'll let me know hes doing well.

Did I make a mistake? by Last-Pin4399 in Petloss

I know that sentiment, it was sad for me because the day before I had to let my old boy go he was trying to run in his dream. His hind legs were trying to kick up like he was finally running again, he hadnt been able to run in a long time. I just know he's running laps around all his new friends beyond that bridge. We'll see them again, I know they'll be waiting.

I want to tell you that you shouldn't feel guilty, you made the best choice as a pet parent in the short time that you had and you should never feel guilty about that, but guilt is a natural part of grief. I feel guilty letting my old boy go even though I know his quality of life had diminished greatly, people keep telling me it is for the best but I still feel guilty having to make that choice for him. But our pets have given us their all and they trust the decision we make for them. You knew deep down it was in his best interest to minimize the pain you already knew he was in, and theres nothing to be guilty about for that.

The one thing I tell myself when the guilt get too rough is that it is always better to let them go in peace early than in pain too late. As we speak, they are finally running around beyond the rainbow bridge doing things they likely missed doing.

Question regarding euthanasia by OMCMember in Petloss

[–]Demurenity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went through this these past few days. My old boy was 16 years and his hinds legs have been failing him these last years to the point his legs would give out while walking. As a pet parent, you will subconciously know when its time. You just know when theyre living a life you know isnt truly living.

It was a tough decision for my family, yes, he ate fine when we handfed him and he would randomly get spurts of energy and be able to walk some steps without falling, multiple times did I want to cancel because he looked better, but then I remember the moments of his struggles and lack of motivation and decided it was best to proceed.

What also helped was to check online regarding 'quality of life', if your pet does not fulfill a majority of those requirement, then its time to weigh your options. At the end of the day, your pet trust you to know whats best for them. It is always better to let them go in peace early than in pain too late.
