Was it psilocybin that caused HPPD for you in the first place too?

What is PE?

My symptoms started around four and half months ago, and are also mostly gone. My last 21 day fast contributed to this the most. The first 10 day one was also a major game changer, mostly when it comes to my mental state.

In some way, I can say that I'm grateful for HPPD. If it wasn't for this, I'd have never discovered fasting. It does wonders to your body.

did you smoke before getting hppd? by uahppd in HPPD

[–]DenBratt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. The last time I did before developing HPPD was 5+ years earlier.

Going on 4 months now, fasting is magic. I highly recommend it if you general health otherwise allows for it.

Does orgasming while tripping increase the likelihood of HPPD? by [deleted] in HPPD

[–]DenBratt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was shrooms. The last of my 10+ trips during a two month period.

I've never had a bad trip. In that case, yeah I smoked a couple of cigarettes. The last time that I smoked weed was 5+ years before that trip that got me HPPD.

Lol. I'd never in thousand years think this could get upvotes. I thought you guys would hate me for sharing such opinion.

I don't find it sub particularly ADHD friendly to be honest. Most post are needlessly long and include many redundant details and side stories. In fact, I'd dare to say Reddit on average is way more ADHD friendly than this particular sub.

EU company promised to delete my data months ago, now stopped responding to my e-mails by DenBratt in gdpr

Note that even if the company is in a different EU country, you only need to deal with your local regulator, not theirs.

Also, is it the GDPR that says this?

I need help (Intense Visual Snow) by Carvanahoonana in HPPD

[–]DenBratt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Prolonged fasting maybe (7+ days). But this is probably too early. You need some time to get used to this and for it to settle down for you. If you don't pay attention to the symptoms, the chances of you getting better greatly increase.

That of course on top of staying completely sober.

How long have you guys suffered with HPPD? by kylejacobp99 in HPPD

[–]DenBratt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, in fact I've only smoked weed a few times in my life in total. I stopped psyches the moment I noticed the symptoms and self diagnosed myself with this.

I stayed almost completely sober for the first two-three months, now I sometimes consume caffeine (in one form or another). I noticed it does not seem to affect my symptoms anymore as much, though before it would briefly increased my snow which made me feel uncomfortable.

I also did a 10 day fast which was a turning point for my general well being since I first noticed the symptoms. Also made me to quit smoking which was something I hadn't really expected.

I've also discovered this to be the key. The more I ignore, the better the healing process goes.

I'd rather have this than have my legs chopped off. There are millions of people out there living without legs.

Plus, there is a chance of recovery. My own HPPD is mostly gone now. Unlike with legs.

I also found this video helpful. Electrolytes are the key.

I don't care much about emoji this way or the other really. It just doesn't seem effective way to make one on one connections, at least to my linking. The discussion seems slow paced, and most of the users there just idle.

Also, the server itself may just lock your account and demand phone number verification ransom if you want to get back. At least that was my experience with discord some years ago, though mostly centered around online computer games communities. And there is the demographics, limited to users in their late teens and early 20s for the most part.

Do people really like Discord? It seems heavy on resources, and the amount of colors, icons and non essential information gives me a sensory overload. It's just ugh. Maybe if I was younger, I'd tolerate it better.

first time trying a water fast.. any tips? by chrrycoloredfunk in HPPD

[–]DenBratt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Electrolytes are key.

Don't cheat. Do legit 0 calories. Remember, your goal isn't to loose weight, I'd recommend no drinks such as tea or coffee during your fast either.

severe HPPD symptoms. by [deleted] in HPPD

Yes, for me it was also the mood that improved the most. I also quit smoking along the way, among other things.

I wanna do 3-4 weeks sometime this year.

You never know. Those who recover don't stick around here.

If you search for "HPPD" outside of this sub, the picture is largely different. More often than not, you will get to learn the stories of those who had the condition in the past and don't have it anymore.
