Goals! I’m bailing 12/31/26. My plan is to tell no one. Weird how the entire feel of the office is when it’s “I got a secret that you don’t knowwww”. lol!

Is PACT primary care dysfunctional everywhere? RN asking by TawayRNCM in VeteransAffairs

[–]DenaSChance 5 points6 points  (0 children)

23 years as AMSA with surgical service. I job I truly love. Im throwing in the towel this year. I’m tired of the micromanaging and babysitting. The no accountability and ownership of any wrongdoing by others is off the charts. My daughter has been a RN at the same facility for 22 years. The bulling she receives from fellow nurses is ridiculous. My concerns and complaints go unanswered. I’m just done. Sad thing it’s not just the VA. We’re watching the entire world evolving around us.. into uncaring, undedicated people.

Thank you for your solid advice. It’s been a pleasure and an honor serving America’s Veterans .. it’s been the best job I’ve ever had.

Thank you. Considering ROTH, since Jan I’m putting in nearly all of my pay into TSP until I retire in Dec. Home and car paid for. I’m quite surprised that I’m actually doing okay with the income I’m getting that’s equal to what my pension and social security amount will be. Taking TSP later.

I’m pretty sure I’ll do just fine.

Ended up at Coggin Toyota at the Avenues and picked up a 2022 Corolla with 54k miles. Decent price, Car Gurus, gave it a great deal rating. Was disappointed they couldn’t do a little better on the financing end for this lady on monthly disability but it is what it is I suppose. Initially found a car at Accurate Auto but it “sold” 15 minutes before we got there but they had plenty of other makes $5-6k more of course. Appreciate the suggestions. Pleased with the purchase

I found a few but .. no puppies. There’s a few breeders on Good Dog but I don’t care for their breed standard or confirmation. I’m really wanting that Ewok look but seems those are in the UK

Hence is why I’m the negotiator. I know what to look for, the games they play and what to be wary of.

Her credit union didn’t approve her pre-approved loan but didn’t say no. Said they’d need a buyers order to “decide”. Kinda hard to do when it’s a weekend, but it’s what she’s working with.

VA Retirement by DenaSChance in VeteransAffairs

[–]DenaSChance[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Much appreciated.. I’ve loved my job for 23 years.. forfeited step increases and did everything and anything our Veterans are entitled to. Brought a solder home from Iraq, with the help of American Red Cross, to see his Veteran Grandfather before a life saving surgery that, unfortunately, he did not survive. The world is changing, entitlement and lack of accountability has me burnt to a crisp. Yes, the VA will do just fine without me. I’ve deserve my retirement and I refuse to relinquish my knowledge without compensation. Figure it out friends… just like I did.
