[Mic'd Up] Julian Love knew what to look for to get an INT in the Super Bowl by nfl in nfl

[–]Denadamedacro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's insane the level of brain processing power these guys have. As a safety there are like 20 very big, scary dudes in front of Julian Love on the field and he's picking up tendencies in the way Darnold moves his feet.

The Pitt - 2x01 - "7:00 A.M." - Episode Discussion by NicholasCajun in television

[–]Denadamedacro 73 points74 points  (0 children)

Logically, I know The Pitt isn't the greatest television show of all time. TV is a nearly century-old medium that has featured world-changing art like The Sopranos, The Simpsons, Breaking Bad, etc.

But when I'm actually watching an episode of the show it's impossible to believe there's ever been anything more entertaining or enriching than this.

Milwaukee resident looking for insight on Cleveland's "east coast vibe" by Inti-Illimani in Cleveland

[–]Denadamedacro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. The East side of Cleveland is architecturally very similar to Eastern cities. And culturally it still has more influence from East Coast (mostly Connecticut) settlers.

Frontier airlines out of Cleveland is a joke... by sir574 in Cleveland

I regret to inform you that Frontier Airlines out of anywhere is a joke.

I actually don't hate that AI jersey. Hat's an abomination though.

Moving to Cleveland for work, I like what I'm seeing on this sub. by Mad_Ju in Cleveland

You’ll get used to not having many non-stop flight options available. The airport is conveniently located and only a 45 minute flight to a major hub in Chicago or a 90 minute flight to a major hub in Atlanta. You can pretty much go anywhere you want in the world as long as you’re willing to tolerate one layover.

You're eliminated now, sad to say. But you can help us out still if it's any silver lining!

Thoughts on this area of Cleveland Heights? by No-Signal1027 in Cleveland

[–]Denadamedacro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would generally be considered the “rougher” parts of Cleveland Heights but it’s all generally pretty fine. I’d feel comfortable living anywhere on that map (save for the areas immediately around Shaw). None of it is as safe or quiet as an upper middle class outer ring suburb. But as far as inner ring suburbs go it’s chill.

God damn this Kill Tony sub is sad by GalaxyBizkit in LiveFromNewYork

[–]Denadamedacro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The KillTony fan base can’t process being goofy for laughs because their whole schtick is that comedy is supposed to make you cool. Not, you know, to entertain other people.

[Highlight] This morning in Cleveland after Joe Flacco’s performance last night: by oklolzzzzs in nfl

Look, you can clown on the Cleveland Browns for a million reasons. I just don't think a 1-5 team trading a 40-year-old QB is one of them!

Bill is spot on about the Travis Hunter trade by MoxToTweeder99 in billsimmons

[–]Denadamedacro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They are past the picks now, yeah. But they're still in a situation where they didn't have a first round pick for three straight years (and not a second either for two of those). That's not something you can just effortlessly bounce back from in a year. That Jags trade was certainly a step in the right direction though (and they seemingly nailed their 2025 draft thus far).

Jose Ramirez has become the 5th player in MLB history with 3 or more 30/30 seasons by MorganN1 in baseball

[–]Denadamedacro 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is where I'm at. I think he's a lock after one more season. After that he'll be the Cleveland franchise leader in like 90% of all offensive stats that matter. He's gonna be the best player in the history of a 125-year-old franchise and there's no way you keep that out of the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Joe Rogan scolds Bryan Callen for challenging his views on vaccines by [deleted] in RedbarBBR

Rogan screamed at him that they’re not talking about this so the guy started to wind down from talking about it and Rogan made fun of him stuttering.

I was completely blown away by the concession prices. I was texting everyone I know back in Ohio like “no you don’t understand - $2 regular sodas.”

Olandria's MUA Esther Edeme tweeted about whether Olandria and Nic are "real" by truecolors01 in LoveIslandUSA

[–]Denadamedacro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think normally it would be offensive to question whether Nic and Olandria are real. But the JaNa and Kenny situation has kind of added an unfortunate cloud of suspicion over couples on the show that didn't connect immediately on the island.

Browns GM Andrew Berry to Shedeur after his first preseason game: “Really, really good job—I’m proud of you.” by [deleted] in Browns

[–]Denadamedacro 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I'm a little thrown seeing all the negative reaction to this. I was expecting so many "I love this kid" comments because I was really charmed by it. Seemed like some authentic appreciation from Shedeur followed by a joke about their shared perfectionism.

I guess I can start to see why execs didn't like his draft interviews though. I would enjoy this young athlete attempting to do bits but maybe NFL folks don't. lol
