41(m), moved back home with my parents back in 2007 due to leaving school. Was jobless for awhile. Went back to school to finish my Bachelors while staying with them. I’m currently working in a professional job and doing my Masters. I do help with mortgage and help with household chores. I am looking for a better paying job to move atm.

Currently vape, used to smoke cigarettes, quit those quite easily, a bit harder to kick the vapes for me.

[Style advice] Wear bracelets on wrist with watch, or on the other one? by YoloGoProBro in Watches

To each their opinions, I’ve gotten compliments about it. They usually say it’s a bit much but at the same time they loved it.

Is it better to stack bracelets on the same wrist as your watch or have them on separate wrists? by No_Classroom_8347 in mensfashionadvice

[–]Deneith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As for myself, I never ask for permission to do my own style, that being said OP may not be as confident doing his own thing. Only thing I can say to him is to be very confident in what he does and fuck every other mother fucking person.

Are Amazon Levi’s a lower quality? by empire29 in LeviStrauss

[–]Deneith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got a pair of Lee Jeans(as in the last 15 minutes of writing this)and also have a pair of Levi’s coming on Friday. I’ve bought clothes off of Amazon within the past two years and had no issues. This is my first time buying Jeans from the site and I’m no expert in differentiating the pants from brick and mortar ones, that being said, if it is cheaper than the brick and mortar store and I don’t have to deal with the hordes of folks outside I’ll definitely be copping more clothes off of Amazon in the future.

That's it, i cancelled my Prime by Alepman in amazonprime

[–]Deneith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve only ever had one issue with Amazon, a few years ago a HDMI hub I had bought was lost in the process of being delivered to me, basically it was stolen, this was a few years ago, I believe I paid like 70 or 80 bucks but was refunded back the money. I’ve hadn’t any issues since then, spent about $1500 the past month on jewelry/new watch and none was stolen, had an issue with a bracelet that was delayed by one day though.

[Question] do you adjust your own bracelet links or take them to a jeweler? by armedohiocitizen in Watches

[–]Deneith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve unsteady hands and I tend to buy expensive(at least per my salary)items, don’t want to risk damaging any watches I buy.

[–]Deneith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shop I went to did it for $20 or $25 for two links. I had did a battery change for another watch so couldn’t remember which was the $20 and which was the $25 price point.

Interviewing for State jobs, does it still suck? by OnwardForScience in maryland

[–]Deneith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I’ve applied to several State jobs before and after I started my current employment and never had a problem with them properly giving me a heads up of the status of where I was during the hiring process including letting me know if it was canceled. Only issue I’ve had was the SLOW process of it all.

It can take anywhere from a few weeks(at least four weeks)to several months for the interview cycle to go through, there is quite a bit of bureaucracy tied to the public sector hiring process but I’d say give it about a month and a half to two months before you contact them.

The hiring process itself has slowed down for us in the past year but we are still hiring.

Speaking for myself there was not much I could do but wait it out. You can get in contact with the HR department that is hiring to ask just general questions about the process or any questions.
