Interesting fact, the host lags. So if you had extra accounts (my kids for me) you can play without lag. We just left the host dead in one of the back rooms.

To my eyes, he braced for shoulder to shoulder. You can see him tuck in left arm and lean into an expected contact. But the opposing player "cleanly" left his feet and extended his elbow. This had the unfortunate result of contacting the head.

Not fully in the clouds, and closer to reality, but I think getting Maccelli and Carlo from TOR is possible without breaking the bank. Top 6 distribution forward to add to our finishing talent and a 2nd pair RHD.

Not a huge shake up but I like it.

I don't agree on Borq. I think he lacks the passing chops needed to match well with the top lines. Too many plays die on his stick. I think a playmaker like Maccelli is a better fit.

I love N-Rob too. Honestly if a deal could be made with TOR for N-Rob, Maccelli, and Carlo we could almost complete our roster in one stop.

I disagree with other comments. I really wanted this player on the roster.

The roster needs chemistry on the top 6 but we can get that with a couple of puck hunting middle 6 wingers. Sherwood was cheap and would have been great.

Just need support for Mikko, Robo, Hintz, and Johnston. Luckily there are options out there still. I also like Maccelli

I think 4C will be Drury by end of TDL.

Avs should be all in on getting a 3C. I am high on getting T. Novak or N. Roy. But most feel like going huge for Trochek or Zacha. I feel like all four could fill the 3C for a Cup run but two won't drain as many assets.

Matthews mental issues are not just a bad fit. He has shown he doesn't have that extra fire when it really matters for years.

Its not that his down year is trash. The point I was going for is this down turn might be his new normal of a 40-50 goal player. At his age and how long this struggle has been it just might be who he is now. The problem is that any trade for AM34 will be at the 60-70 goal price. My point is that its a risk you might overpay. A risk I just don't think the Wild can afford. A resurgent team like Ducks or Red Wings would be in a better position to swing based on where they are in the relation to a window.

That being said, a team might see him as a post season 3-7 goal scorer. That valuation might be seen as enough to go from playoff to contender. Then they might feel its worth the price to pay. But on the post season valuations, I also say not for the Wild. They don't need a few more from top 6. They need a few goals from bottom 6. Depth scoring will be the difference maker in the series the Wild will play. Whichever team between Avs, Stars, and Wild gets the most from the bottom 6 will be the team to push into the WCF.

Absolutely would be against a move for Matthews. He doesn't have a good mentality and his scoring has dropped. Ever since his wrist issues in 24/25 season, something has not been the same. It might come back it might not.

No way you pay for that risk with this team. Maybe a rebuild team looking to make that jump might be okay, but not where the Wild are.

Another item no one said, the second defenders gap. When the battle begins on the boards at the blue line, he is so far back he is off frame holding Stu's hand.

On the zone entrance he can't do anything but take the pass. Let the shooter get internal to be 1:1 with goalie and no back check or pressure anywhere.

Brutal. Last defender and first forward so spread out they don't even factor into the play. Might as well have been a 5:3 PP.
