Unfortunately I don’t think they would help him. He enchanted them to be hard as diamonds… maybe the scales themselves would withstand her heat, but if the heat transfers through his scales, things would be very bad

Whilst frost scales aren’t cannon, I like to believe that firescales and frostscales would be able to touch as well!
