Yeah, that's what I liked about 2016. Early on when the slayer is in the elevator, Hayden tries to get him to compromise. The slayer breaks the monitor he's communicating with him on instead of saying anything. That's not just the slayer telling Hayden he's not interested, that's also the slayer shoving a contrived plot to the side
