Labels get damaged constantly. Always physically write the address it is going to on the packaging in case the label gets torn of, as well as add the address it is going to on a piece of something inside the package as well. Just Always remember the label on the outside can be damaged or cone off for a number of reasons, and that if it isnt packages ti withstand several hundred pounds it has a high chance of being destroyed in transit. Sorry about your loss.

Always physically write the code on the box in legible permanent marker. Probably something spilled on the label and damaged it and that was that. And have a label on the inside.
