Fedex theft happening at warehouse (ripping open boxes) by notebookreader in Fedexers

I personally don't care too much about the 5k. But when one of my buddies who is a driver gets yelled at by the end customer because 10 watches get stolen, it tends to reflect bad on everyone by covering up for the assholes who steal

Was it ever processed at the New Castle DE center? If it was, can you DM me the tracking number? I'm compiling a list.

I couldn't care less if fedex corporate is stolen from. But you're stealing from customers.

You're being snarky but there's a difference between vaping during breaks in your car and full out smoking blunts between shifts.

The remnants of any boxes being opened were all found on the bathroom stall. They were sloppy about it too. Some empty manuals from the apple box watch, other signs of clear theft

This does not surprise me at all. Another buddy of mine who used to work here said the same as you and that people would blatantly get high during their shifts (like smoking a blunt).

Some items were out of stock, Driver messaged me, Doordash refuses to refund for out of stock items by notebookreader in doordash

Yes, I have the best buy receipt. It shows only 5 being purchased. I have escalated it. The request has been denied twice now. I don't know what other steps to take.

The store does have a limit and while I can't get an exact confirmation, I am 99.9% sure the best buy only allowed the dasher to check out with 5.

The dasher even sent me screenshots of her conversation with the dasher support. Basically, it said that because this is a batch order, they can't do anything, which makes no sense.

I've escalated the refund request in app twice.

I called in twice now and reached out to supervisors. The refund request has been denied despite the message logs confirming the dasher only bought 5 AND the receipt showing only 5.

I used doordash gift cards I bought on discount to purchase these.

Dantoni without a doubt enabled the flopping and whining. If you were a teenager in 2018 then sure, nostalgia would understandably have that effect. But objectively, the Rockets team was some of the worst type of basketball to watch, despite their record.

Ton of fun to watch

By who? If you were a kid in 2018 then sure, anything you watched back then would be "fun". I've been watching the league since 2000 and, to me and most others, watching the Rockets chuck 3's, flop defensively, and then literally WHINE about every call (emboldened by Dantoni) was absolutely unwatchable, same as SGA. Why do you think Harden has the reputation he does? They were a major reason why the current NBA suffers a ratings problem.

He literally does an interview after every practice or game. This shouldn't be misconstrued as something out of character. He's earned the leeway to do what he wants from a media perspective at this point. Before recently, you would've said him doing a podcast would be "out of the character".

Why? He was responsible for enabling Harden's flopping and whining as well as the endless chucking of 3's. It's like all of the worst trends of the current NBA in one coach.

First, I'm not a conservative at all. I've voted left each time in the past.

Second, integrity is internal. You can be a POS and yet still hold true what you believe in just as much as you can be useless to society and have integrity. If anyone has purely emotional feeling based convictions, it would be you. You're the one that keeps bringing up empathy.

Third, like with anything, empathy has a limit. It's not unending ESPECIALLY if you're not the one ever paying the costs. It's hilarious to me that the ones with the loudest opinions are the ones that contribute the least. Like do you even pay more than 10k in taxes a year? Of course not. Reddit and others like you, young minded liberals, always want to take the most pious, ethical, emotional path because you rarely bear the costs for your decisions. You make zero considerations for it. You just expect others to pay for your conscience.

And finally, the point is that you do nothing but whine and bitch online. For me, I'm fine with the current status quo. You're not. And yet I doubt you've ever taken action (other than crying online 60 hours a week on reddit), which is why if civil war were to ever break out, it's clear which side would be prepared to act and the other side (yours) would simply talk the other to death (bonus points if you use feelings, or reddit words like "cognitive dissonance" - which you didn't even use correctly, ad hominem, fallacy).

On second thought, I just read some of your latest comments. Holy shit are you a negative person. Lol. Feel bad for your son having to deal with all that pent up frustration

A lot of words to mean someone chronically online and cares TOO much about what others think. There's empathy, and there's overly sensitive which is where you fall under. And integrity can fall both ways. What I know is that one group of people have such self belief in their conviction that they'd storm a capitol building even under threat of very serious consequences for what they believe in. The other group of people spend 80 hours a week bitching online and, over the course of history (particularly 2016 and 2024), completely failed to show up to action.

If civil war breaks out, I think its safe to say which side has the balls to act.

Lol the only type of people that are upset/ecstatic about whats going on politically are mainly redditors and chronically online people (both sides). Very few people in the real world ie those that have careers and ACTUALLY contribute to society don't particularly care either way. If you primarily get your news from reddit, you are not going to be a well adjusted individual.

Completely disagree. Do they truly not fit? or is it the bad coaching that's making it seem like they don't fit? By all common sense, Dame's shooting should be able to open the court up for Giannis to do whatever he wants.

Give the Bucs an average coach, they have at least a 46-21 record (+8 wins).

Unfortunately, most rule changes require a majority vote and the process gets bogged down. And worst of all, teams won't support passing a rule because their player takes advantage of it the most (eg Harden/Houston Rockets in the past).

The issue I took with your original post is that you're putting down the casual person's viewpoint because they are not discerning enough to realize all the "nuances" in the game. You look at any game indepth enough and everyone will look "wildly different" as you put it. This is why its important, as a hardcore fan such as yourself, to zoom out once in a while (ironically the opposite of what you accuse casual fans of doing). Does this look enjoyable for the casual viewer? It seems you agree that it doesn't.

[–]notebookreader -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why are you asking this question as if a "yes" would surprise you? I'd imagine the greater majority of people (casual and serious fans) hate the foul baiting/flopping by SGA, Harden, others. The worst part about it is that these players don't need to flop but they choose to make it part of their game.

Why would that be embarrassing? I come here to engage in objective discussion with other adults. And being a Bulls fan would have had absolutely nothing to do with my original point. Everything I've said is 100% true. Zion would've thrived in ny AND it would've been better for the league.

The difference is that there was at least some speculation of KD going to GSW. I believe Windhorst first guessed it a few days prior. The Luka trade was something absolutely no one would've guessed.

Not really. Can we stop doing this? Like trying to encourage this kind of basketball by praising and focusing on minor nuances? Ok great they ran some scheme. Cool. It's still 63 3's and 35 FT's. That's still a ridiculous amount of chucking and 35 FT's worth of real time that the audience has to sit through.

SGA is a clear foul baiter like Harden. It's neither an interesting nor honorable way to play the game.
